CURRENT PROJECTS

PROJECT 1

REBUILD South Africa

The violence, arson and looting in our country is ongoing. Since the outbreak at least 212 people have lost their lives. Our families and our communities are going through pain that they should never have had to endure. The destruction of property and theft has cost businesses, consumers and the country billions of rands, and left thousands of people without jobs. Our country is burning and we are hurting. But we will extinguish the fires that are raging, and stamp out every last ember. We will come together to rebuild what has been broken. But we need help along the way - from the world and from South Africans all over the world. We need love and support to give us strength, until we find our own again.

SLUMZERO

In partnership with Slumzero, we are working on the urgent task of eliminating harmful fossil fuels that children breathe in every day through kerosene for lighting, and replacing it with solar-powered lighting that will eliminate toxic fossil fumes, increase health in children, and address early childhood development problems and gender-based inequality in education.
